Together, We’re Building a World That Understands Autism
Founder of Autismworks
Tyler McNamer
Hi, I’m Tyler McNamer author, speaker, and proud advocate for the autism community. Diagnosed with autism at age 2, I grew up feeling misunderstood, but I chose to see my differences as strengths. At 17, I wrote Population ONE: Autism, Adversity, and the Will to Succeed to share my story and show others that it's possible to overcome challenges, find your voice, and define your own success.
Today, through AutismWorks.com, I connect with families, schools, and organizations across the country offering real-world tools, encouragement, and inspiration. My goal is simple: to help individuals with autism feel seen, supported, and empowered. If you’re ready to shift perspectives and unlock potential, this program is for you.

IEP Success System
When I first started school, I had no idea how powerful my Individualized Education Plan (IEP) would become in shaping my future. Looking back, it’s one of the top reasons I’ve been able to grow into an international best-selling author and speaker on autism.
At the beginning, my family and I were completely in the dark. My dad sat across from educators and specialists, feeling like they had all the answers. But we soon realized something important, no one knows a child better than their own family.
That realization became the foundation of my journey and it’s exactly what I teach in my program. I show parents how to turn the IEP process into a personalized, empowering roadmap that truly supports your child’s growth, just like it did for me.

Each of these books holds lessons and inspiration that I have carried with me every day—and now, I’m excited to share them with you. Dive in and discover the ideas and stories that have influenced the journey behind my brand.

Tyler McNamer
Founder of Autismworks
Tyler McNamer is an author and motivational speaker. Although he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of 2, he learned to overcome his challenges and embrace the unique perspective he could offer the world. It is this attitude that makes him a role model, particularly for those with autism or who may be perceived as being different.
Knowing that this viewpoint could help those who struggle with being different, Tyler decided to write a book to inspire others. At the age of 17, he published Population One: Autism, Adversity, and the Will to Succeed. This remarkable book details Tyler's life with autism while encouraging others to overcome their own challenges and accomplish their dreams.
Having emerged as an up-and-coming voice in the autism community, he entertains thousands of people at schools and organizations all over the country as a motivational speaker. He also provides content for his website Autismworks.com.
Since the writing of Population ONE, Tyler and his Dad have had the privilege of meeting thousands of people affected by autism. They have been touched by the heartfelt comments, and hundreds of thousands of "likes" of the Population ONE video.
DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT:
“Tyler, this is such a well written and inspiring story. You are an Awesome individual! I am a retired Special Education Teacher and was truly moved by your story. Your integrity, inspiration, creativity and motivation made me speechless! I would have been honored to have a student like you in my classroom! Keep inspiring people, it's a good virtue! May you continue to live a long and happy life inspiring everyone that crosses your path!"
“When I first saw your program I was totally thrilled. Initially I was shocked but at some
point realized that your and my experiences are very similar. I realize that the spectrum is
infinite, with each person being unique, but I see Tyler and my son's IEP crossing at several
points. That is the point where things started to fall into place for me. That was the point
where clearer understanding arrived and excitement set in and all I could say was thank God
for this program.!”
“I was eager to read about Tyler’s continuing adventures in Becoming One. He has proven that a positive attitude and a willingness to think through situations and then make course corrections as needed can help you live an amazing and fulfilling life no matter what perceived setbacks you may face. This is not a ‘how to live with autism’ book. It’s a ‘how to benefit from autism to the fullest extent’ book. Two thumbs up!”
“Tyler McNamer’s Becoming One is the welcomed follow-up to his first book Population: One. In these pages, he continues to tell his insightful story of living with autism as he transitions into adulthood. McNamer offers a fresh perspective on autism that needs to be heard and embraced as we quit seeing it as something to be fixed and instead as something to be appreciated because it allows people to view the world in surprisingly different ways, and we can all be enriched by that. Tyler’s story is truly one of choosing to create your own destiny without letting anything stand in your way.”
“I was totally captivated by Tyler’s book. I am amazed at how well he, as someone on the spectrum, can articulate the milestones that a family experiences while growing through the world of autism. Thank you so much, Tyler, for making this book available so others can be educated through your personal experiences. You have helped me grow as a person, and I will use what I have learned from you to help others, including my own family.”
