RE: IEP Success System
My son Tyler has autism. He was non-verbal until he was six and started speaking in his own sentences at 12. He ran screaming out of the classroom, regularly "melted down", ate staples and nails, head-bunted other kids, and seemed lost in his own world most of the time. Those were very desperate times for his mom and I, most likely you can relate. Now at age 26 he provides for himself and lives an independent happy life as an author and speaker on the topic of autism. It's been a lot of work for him to get to where he is today. He's an amazing young man as I'm sure your child is too.
Thousands of people have asked how Tyler was able to make his transformation, and how they can help their child to do the same. It's a difficult question to answer as autism presents itself uniquely for each child.
One thing all children on the spectrum have in common, including yours, is the ability to utilize an IEP. It allowed us to find and pay for the best doctors, therapists, nutritionists, and teachers. We all got on the "same page", identifying and focusing on exactly what Tyler needed to be successful in life.
At no cost to us, his IEP provided him a full-time Para-Educator until he graduated. A speech therapist that worked with him for ten years. An online speech and visual therapy program, social skills groups, transportation accommodation, home modifications, in-home therapy, sensory therapy, and much more. Without those services, Tyler would not be where he is today.
You have the ability to do the exact same thing for your child. You must get those services as soon as you can. The type of assistance will vary with the unique needs of your child, the law guarantees they must be provided. Work with your school so they provide now, or you will pay later.
You can do it, your child can do it! All you need a progressive plan, support, and time. I can help you with the plan, your school can give you the support, and your child will do the rest.
I remember the very first thing my son wrote, before he could speak... he wrote "HELP ME". Perhaps your child is thinking the same thing. Allow me to be your guide. I promise to educate, empower, and give you confidence that you're providing the best for your child. The work you do now will have a profound effect on their future.
Your child with autism has a tremendous gift to give. They need your help to use those gifts to build a life they love. I will show you how my son did that, and how your child can too.
Genuinely,
Jody McNamer (Tyler's Dad)

The IEP Success System works!

"I've always had problems with my son's school and their idea of IEP. I felt they just weren't doing enough and that my son deserves so much more. All the negative vibes only spilt over into my child's life and he was struggling more than ever. However, IEP success system came through as a god send to me and helped resolve a whole host of issues. I can't thank the team of Autism Works enough."
-Elle Golding
I was a proponent of IEP from the very first day, and knew that if my child was to succeed in school, he needed to follow a special program. However, after the first few months, some issue or the other kept cropping up and the whole concept of IEP went for a toss. The teachers were exasperated, I was confused and my son's education just fell on the wayside. That is when I subscribed to Autism Works and their IEP success system. This helped me get a whole perspective on all that I was doing wrong and analyse the cause for the failure of IEP. More importantly, it helped me develop and refine the whole program she rebuild relationships/systems. This made a huge impact in my child's life and he has kept ahead of his class all through the year. I have to thank Autism Works for their wonderful program and would recommend IEP success system to all parents with children having unique abilities.

"Every school my son went to, they kept saying he was a bad fit and he needs to go to a "special school". It was as if all his underlying gifts were ignored due to his behavioral ticks. But thanks to Jody McNamer and his IEP success system, I was able to bring about a fresh perspective into the minda of my son's teachers and educationists. They no longer treated him as a pariah but as someone who just needed a little extra help. Now he goes to regular school and is no different than any one else."
